Pic Description: Several days had passed since Sir Gawain had married Ragnille and no one had heard from the pair....Fearing that the horrid woman had possibly caused harm to Sir Gawain. With Queen Guinivere accompanying him, Arthur and some other members of the royal court went to their bedchamber and called out to them. When Gawain did not want to come out to meet with them, Arthur demanded to know why and if hed been harmed. No one was prepared for the suprise when the newly wedded couple emerged from their rooms. Upon his arm it seemed was the most ethereal of beauties....his new wife Ragnille transformed for all to see. with auburn curls that cascaded to the small of her back, she donned her finest lace daydress and glided gently next to Sir Gawain holding his hand......Ragnille and Gawain then explained to all assembled about how she was cursed by her stepmother and now was freed. So gentle and kind was Ragnille she begged Arthur to forgive both her stepmother and her evil brother Gromer despite all they had said and done against her. Smitten, Arthur promised that for her sake he would be kind to them and not raise a hand to harm them if he could help it. Guinevere also called her a true gentlewoman and proclaimed her the fairest lady in the lands!

I hope you all enjoy my attempts here. These are also Ahjahs morphs which I used together to make her look like an old world Arthurian beauty. The result was striking so I thought I would share this. I was truly going for ethereal here....according to legened Gawain was only married to her for five years and had only one child with her when she passed....It stated that he pined for her the rest of his life...she truly must have been an incredible woman. I hope you all enjoy my attempt!

Do you write the stories? Very nice. I love the curls on the hair along with the dress. Such a beautiful character and so dainty. Yes I do enjoy this. Very rare we see things with such a change in character. You seem to always bring the magic of a different character every time the story unfolds.

The stories of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table are great fodder for my imagination. They are not my stories at all. I have also roleplayed and run RP campaigns for many years. It made me quite adept at telling a tale, even one as old as King Arthur of legend! I am also a hopeless, sappy, romantic and all the romances of the times of King Arthur kindled my imagination from the time I was a child. This was one of my favorite stories because Gawain was able to look past Ragnilles mask of ugliness and find her true self....and in doing so freed her and him to be truly happy. He also gave her her own choices in matters, so in giving her that freedom they never once quarreled. They understood one another and they spent all their time together to the point he would not leave her side even to joust. (which he got teased for by the other knights......they were jealous though.....hehehe!) Perhaps that is what poor Gawain missed the most about her when she died. The son they had together grew to be a knight also. Noble like his father and with his mothers genteel ways and coutenance....which comforted Gawain in his waning years.

This was also a lot of fun to do....I found a few nice things online that really made this peice work. The curly hair was a free item for Victoria it came with the curls and the lovely crown that can be textured. The only thing I did not like about it was it was mainly just long curls with no other depth to the hair.It also had to be parented to the head and posed by hand. I used the curly hair and another free item hair called Flo Hair together to make the hair both fuller and with more realistic body for my render with pleasant results. Uthenas dress has alot of textures online still, this one I used is one of many that Jan shared with me, the lacy nightgown texture was one of them. Uthena dress is still, in my book one of the most verstale peices of Posette clothing there is. It really helped in this peice. I am pleased that I am able to make you see through my eyes....even for a brief moment.....which is not easy to do. I am glad you liked my work Kenny and I appreciate your viewing and comments as always!

I appreciate the view Jan! Ahjah makes some fantastic morphs and I took his advice in their use. It came up with this very beautiful lady. The wonderful props and skins from happyworldland with the vibrant blue eyes are some of the best Posette skins on the net! The Anni morph of Ahjahs is one of my favorites. not only does it have a head morph, but left and right eye morphs too to make adjustments to the size variable of the head so the eyes dont float in the sockets. She turned out beautifully. I am always surprised how well things turn out when I render, it adds to my fun! Thanks again for viewing!
