Post Welcome one and all

#1  The Mighty Zeus 07 Dec 2005 06:05

In most of the Poser communities Posette is somewhat forgotten, but here (compaired to our lovely Posey) Vicky is indeed the ugly step sister. I thought I would open a place to give some help and tips (not to mention point out nice free stuff that I find) for these figures.
For anyone who knows about The Daz figures they can be rather tempermental at times, though they do offer a wide range of options.
Right now Daz has both Victoria 3 and Michael 3 available for free so if you want to work with them now is your chance.

Anyone who is into Cinema 4D and Adobe photoshop will also find a few tutorials on my site if you follow the links in the top part of this forum. I will be posting up my very own hair painting tutorial pretty soon too, as I do things a little easier than most people do. (I know I dont use painted hair in my pics but that doesn't mean that I dont know how to do it.)

I've never had the pleasure of using or working with Posette, when i first started with Poser - i think i started with V3 - she was subject to all my whims and poor thing may of twisted her ankles quite a bit rofl....

Well we all use those models that we do.  The more base models we use the more different characters and poses that we can use in our artwork.  Just like in the case of a carpenter, if the only tool he has is a hammer, everything is a job for a nail and his vision is limited by what a hammer can do.

When I first got V3 and M3, I was badly disappointed.  I was used to Poser models like Posette, Don, Judy, and others that ship with morphs already installed.  Still even before I got their standard morphs, I used them when they fit the need as they were.  Latter, I had the morphs, during halloween 2005, I created the Necros family.  To get the desired looks, it took M3 for the father, NeaEna for daughter and Judy for the mother, Judy with morphs tranfered from the  daughter.  Their exact proportions and appearance whould have been difficult to replicate with other models.
