I haven't noticed it but it's almost Valentine's day      

(No one should tell this to Posy )

So it's time to start our little celebration of the event ! I'm going to open a special gallery in the album and if you've some other ideas ( songs, animations, food ) you're welcome   !!

  Well, the 14th of February is extremely early this year....
In my part of the Germany, we don't celebrate Valentine's Day traditionally. It only came up as a comercial event over the last years (similar to Halloween...)
So I'm not too much into this "hearts'n'flowers" stuff, personally. Actually I don't like it at all.
We should think of the people we love every day . This don't need a special day for flower shops and jewleries
... anyway, maybe I'll get some inspiration...

I agree Andreas, for me it's the same feeling for all the celebrations on the calendar, I tend to avoid them, days when you *must* be happy.

In any case ( ) we don't have to share chocolate cookies each other, these days are just the right occasion to make some lazy asses spin and produce a picture for our album !! Am I talking of myself , well   ...   ...

Oh I remember, when the Florists....  they created

     "GRANDPARENTS-DAY"

-and we had never heard -of it....

But the Ears -of Grandmothers...

were tuned into it— like some.... STEALTH RADAR....

and it was necessary, to send flowers or something—

That is,  IF you wanted to avoid— the Wrath— of Angry females...

I have 6 female relatives.... and 85% of my time... and 99% of my money...

is taken up— doing for them....

So— I get flowers, and Candy for Valentin'es Day,

Because Leahman— is Old, and doesn't want to sleep -

in the Snow....

Personally, I LIKE the 'forced happy' days of the callendar cause there's far too many out there that actually do need to be forced into not being miserable all the time...

of course, it doesn't work.. just saying  

I like bein happy, even if i don't ever get anything special on those days, I just like being happy.

It's all very well being told there is a day where you have to send flowers to the one you love...

...but I get the oddest looks from the florist when they ask who do I want them sent to, and I answer with "You're looking at him!"
