Post subject: Poser Debut (free Version) Library Blank
Hi there! <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/wave.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> I got the free Poser Debut, and installed it; but the library palette is empty, except for a message stating that "additional HTML content should be placed here. Flash is required. Download here." <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/new_cussing.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> I have the latest version of flash. <br /> <br /> I suspect that the trouble is due to the fact that I do NOT have Internet Explorer install on this machine. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_think.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> Has anyone else experienced this trouble? <br /> Is there a way to get Poser Debut to use Firefox for it's library needs? <br /> <br /> If IE is required, it will be the third 7 final strike against me using Poser Debut. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/girl_cray2.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/happy8.gif" alt="" />

There was a similar problem when running Poser8/Pro2010 on linux/wine <br /> The workaround for this was loading the library manually into firefox AFTER poser has started and using the browser as palette. <br /> The library GUI for Poser8 is located in <br /> Runtime/ui/Flex/LSMGUI/bin-release/LSMGUI.html (I never tried this myself) <br /> Might work similar for Debut, too <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_think.gif" alt="" />

Yes it is a flash problem but should clear up if you are connected to the internet. I have liked Poser 8 Pro but gave up on the rest that has this type of software. It renders it usless with out the flash. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_think.gif" alt="" />

Thanks again for the assistance! <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/TFR708.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> I asked this question at RDNA about the same time that I asked here, and learned that I do not need IE, I just needed the IE "debugged" version of Flash. I downloaded & installed it, and everything seems to be fine, now. <br /> <br /> <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/ayeah.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> Now to see if the limited material room, and limited Firefly controls will allow me to maintain the "look" that I am accustomed to. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_pray.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/happy8.gif" alt="" />

Poser 7 o 8, I think. E-frontier and later Smith Micro relaunched ttheir old products with a new name and reduced prices a few years afterwards.

No material room, no firefly, no python... <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_think.gif" alt="" /> sounds like Poser4 <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/lmao.gif" alt="" />
