Thanks, but his one has another (gen) hip and smoothed eyebrows (... and a bunch of stolen morphs ) AFAIK.
I can't use it , I'd need an original so I can use my own morphs on her. I can't do it myself, unfortunately.

It's a two-word phrase you should never, EVER say with Poser.

You said "I can't."

Never say that with Poser.

Say "I don't know how right now."

If I had said "I can't", my girl would never look that good. After all, I didn't know anything about Poser when I started, and back then there weren't any tutorials on rigging or making characters or really anything!

Remember: Never say "I can't." Always say "I don't know how right now."

Not just with Poser, though. With everything in your life.

Because you can always learn.

Click here for a zip file of the P4 Nude Woman OBJ Remapped to V3 and saved as PCF with Maz' ObjActionMover.

Now, you will need OBJAction Mover to decode the file in that zip. You can find it here:

http://mystic-nights.com/freebies/details.php?image_id=319

Once you have the file decoded, you will be looking at an OBJ file for Posette. There are only two changes:

1) In the "Head" group, the "skin" material has been renamed to "Skin Head". This is because V3 uses two separate texture maps.
2) Because Posey's teeth aren't shaped anything like V3's teeth, the teeth use a new texture map - this one:

Don't worry you'll lose it, it's included in the ZIP file. =)

To use this, you must first decode it. After you have decoded it, you must create a CR2 that points to this OBJ so Poser can load it. Once all that's done, you're ready to go!

Now, please note: This is NOT a perfect re-map! This is just a straight "projection" in 3DSMax from my modded Posette back to the original Posette's body. There are going to be errors in the mapping here and there. But, you can fix them in any program that lets you edit UV mapping, okay? Good. Also, because the material groups are not re-named, you will not be able to apply Vickie3's materials with one-click from a pose file like I do with my girl. Instead, you will have to manually apply the materials to Posey's material groups in the Material room. Also, this is just the OBJ. There is no character file, which means there are no "eyebrow smoothing"morphs or anything. You will have to make or find them yourself, okay?

Okay! That said, this OBJ file DOES work. I have tested it by pointing a normal Posette CR2 at it, and all Posey's normal morphs will work with it. The model is NOT re-grouped or anything, not a single vertex has been moved. This is the ORIGINAL Posette OBJ, re-mapped to use Vickie 3's mats.

Now: We've taken away that little "I Can't" excuse. No more excuses! You have all the tools in Poser itself to regroup her if you want, change the material zone names if you want. Everything is possible, it just takes time and practice to learn how. I look forward to seeing what you (and everyone else) can do with this. =)

Thanks a lot! I'll have a look at it and see what I can do
BTW I'm actually not the "I can't" type, too. In my case it's more the "I'm not the 2D (Texturing/mapping) type, and there's so much other stuff in my head that keeps me from learning it" thingie"
I wouldn't be here if I wouldn't love to experiment...

... no problems, the grouping glitch in the fingers/nails solved, just to realize I didn't have any unimesh textures installed

Here's just a quick one. Eyes are a V3 mapped character, skin originally made for Laura. Hair P7 Sydney, hand painted texture. All morphs by me (most of them in our freebies) No PW
"Thanks Jim!" she says

As you apply sub-surface scattering and other tricks Poser has up it's sleeve to make photorealistic skins, you will discover that the higher-resolution textures that the re-map allows will permit you to do truly amazing things with the character. =) Also, you can use the morph brush in Poser to create your own eyebrow-smoothing morphs. It takes a bit of practice and experimentation, but it can be done. =)
