Yesterday was a weird day for me, I usually come and go to my work riding my bicycle, when I was coming back from office to home a man in an stoped car opened the door no looking back and beaten a man that was riding his bicycle right in front of me meaking him fall sudenly, I was coming so near him and so fast that I wasn't able to stop in time so I passed with my bicycle all over the chest of the fallen man then beaten the open door and of a sudden I was in the floor set a tangle with my bicy the man's bicy and the man himself fortunatelly nobody was seriouslly hurted (I'm a little paintfull) the weird was the man in the bicy got mad at me because I couldn't stop and felt over him, and not on the man that beaten him, now the wheels of my bicy looks like an 8 number and I must use my wife one the problem is that my wife bicy is too law for my height (I'm 1.93 mts and my wife 1.60 mts) until I fix mine.
For today we went to my father in law home to eat a very local meal: carpincho asado or capivara asado (carpincho barbacoa) the carpincho or capivara is a very big animal that live in the Island by here taste a little like pig but looks very diferent, I ate a lot it had garlic and it hurts me so now I can't stop drinking water and, well you know doing this sound ...

That accident does sound painful. It is a miracle that no one was hurt very badly. I am glad you are OK with only some aches and pains.

Pangor

I am very curious about the taste Posy! I had eat bovine meat from Argentina and is very very good! If they have that meat and eat capivara means that capivara has a better taste that I could imagine!

Yes John, is the same animal, here is protected and have some period of time to be hunted, is a very very big ginea pig it taste good something like pig, as you sayed we have very good meats and are by far much more cheap than the capivara meat, let say it's an special food, happend that I live in a river and island zone (where the capivara lives, we call it carpincho) where time ago was full of this animals, and became a special piece for hunting because of it skin and meat that the spanish that came here by 1570 lerned from the indians, the true is that I'm not quite agree about the hunting but I couldn't say no to the invitation of my wife father, I ate a lot because there were bobine meat and chiken too in the barbacue we argentinians have a saying: Todo bicho que camina va a parar al asador something like every creature that walk can go to the barbacue but the true is the capivara is a very beautiful animal, red big and dangerous animal, the one in the barbacue was about 100 kg What a ginea pig!!!

Yes, GP they are mean and very dangerous at wild life, they say, but in the zoo they are very peacefull. I knew of some people that had one as pet, but you need a big place for an animal of more than 100 kg, enyway there is an smaller verssion (a little smaller than a cat) that we call nutria or coipo that can be esylly a pet.

No more comments about my accident

Those animals are infesting our country fields, this is due to the fact that someone imported them from south America and let them free. They look like big rats and Tormie was having a car crash trying to avoid one of them who was crossing the street... (it had a nice funeral).

Hey, I can't eat one of them ! I should be REALLY hungry !

They are in Italy?
That is all we need, more rodent moving into new places.

A few years ago, in the news there was a report of a store falling down into a hole. Someone get some praire dogs for pets or something, then let them go in a field. They did was those animals do, they breed and breed and they dug their underground tunnel systems. Fromthe field the dug across a street under the store. When they dug out enough of the dirt and we had a very little earthquake, the store fell in.

Pangor

here coipos can be freely hunted too, they are not in danger as capivara, besides we have yacares (latin american crocodiles) that keep them in its place, do you want me to send you some yacares Tormentor?

By the way Tormentor, are you shure those animals are coipos?, they don't live in field nor do holes in the ground, they live in rivers and build their homes with brands and woods, and they don't eat grain, they catch and eat fishes.

Yes rayera, we call them nutrie, they are like beavers but they have the tail of a rat so they look like big rats. The first time I saw one of it, killed by a car on a street I was really scared, I thought of a sort of a mouse transformed by radiations... (Tormie watches too many cartoons )

I have good news and bad news!

The good news are that the frinday fire was a bomb or somthing like that. It was caused by a shop kepper who placed to many plugs in the same eletrical font! And tomorrow is a holiday in Rio!

The bad news are that with it I am back to work!
