<img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/Laie_33.gif" alt="" /> Dear friends <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/Laie_33.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> Today we celebrate our special anniversary <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Posetteforever is <span style="color: #ff0019;">6 years old <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/connie_pacifier.gif" alt="" /></span></span></span> <br /> <br /> So Tormie is going to write some words in his spaghetti-english ( <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/new_sleeping.gif" alt="" /> ) <br /> <br /> Well, in 6 years everything has changed around us and the site has changed with it. <br /> <br /> I created it in order to have a place where people could talk and show their art without being pushed by the commercial side of our hobby, I mean, everywhere I was into, it was all based on the store and the marketplace and how good was the new 3d human model that was kicked out on an almost monthly basis, and all of this costed a lot of money. <br /> <br /> And everywhere, new sites came out like Posetteforever did, no stores and no banners, but then, little by little, every time you could see that ads time began soon after, the excuse is always the same: the site costs a lot of money, it is for helping paying the bills etc. <br /> <br /> Well, obvioulsy it is only a very big lie <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/nicetongue.gif" alt="" /> . I discovered that owning a site is cheap and that everyone can afford it, even a large one, with a normal job like mine (if you don't know it, I'm a bus driver <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/to_become_senile.gif" alt="" /> ) the rest are only money gained that jumps in your pockets. <br /> <br /> And, above all, still now, after 6 years since our opening, there is not a really new technology for 3d human figures: all the new dazzling Victoriae and Michaels and the rest are made in the same way that they were done 10 years ago, they only added more polygons and they made textures that are non compatible with the previous versions, so you've to throw in the trash bin the old ones that you purchased and you're pushed to buy the new ones, or you're out of the clan. <br /> <br /> I still use Posette <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/heartbeat.gif" alt="" /> for my pictures, with a little work she doesn't look so bad and everyone can do it, we've an album that demonstrate it, and if you look at it you can see pictures that are very unusual and beautiful, no one else has an album like our one <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/thumb.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> People come and go, some friends have left us <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/very_sad.gif" alt="" /> some other ones came in and enjoyed the party <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_dance.gif" alt="" /> . There is something special in this place: sometimes I feel depressed, I see no people around and I start thinking that it was all a waste of time, but then I start thinking at my life without this little place to check every day and simply, I can't live without it <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/crybaby2.gif" alt="" /> , it is a part of my life <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/TFR718 (6).gif" alt="" /> . <br /> <br /> Here I found a lot of true friends <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/TFR708.gif" alt="" /> <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/group.gif" alt="" /> that are living all around the world, and I learnt that they are like me, with problems that are maybe bigger than mines . Yes, this place still has a light on the front porch for <br /> anyone wanting to be a part of a small bunch. Yes people come and go <br /> but then they are always welcome back here. For those friends who <br /> feel they have been away for so lon and feel they don't have a <br /> place here couldn't be any more wrong. We miss the ones that <br /> have gone but we understand that changes in life demand it. I have been here <br /> for over 5 years. It is home. A lot have other places that they stay. That is fine. <br /> But remember your all welcome here too. Some people ask if this is a place <br /> that has Posettes why do we have V1 2 3 4 and all the rest here too. We never said <br /> you couldn't They all have there place for something. But you can't help looking <br /> at Posette and without saying there is something special about the girl. This is one of the very few sites that keeps me sane on the net. <br /> <br /> (Ok, so obviously you lot are not doing that good a job in that department, but as I always say: "You can't chocolate soup the gibbon with a silent pumpkin." In my short time here I have found Posette Forever to be one of the friendliest places I've ever encountered on the internet, and I think that's your true achievement in building this place.
