I'm sorry but I'm bored of these spammers so I turned on the admin approval for new users, it means that new users will have to wait for my approval before entering the site as registered members. <br /> The rate of these spammers has increased a lot, I found easier to check the email address and the IP of the people that want to come in instead of cleaning the site from their crap. <br /> <br /> In the periods when I won't be home I'll turned this thing off, and maybe I could give to some of us access to the page where one can activate users, but before doing it, I will have to write a tutorial on how to check if an user is a known spammer <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> , even if what I do is to check on google the IP and email address and see if they are in a blacklist somewhere or if they subscribe to a lot of different forum: I mean that if someone register to a recipes forum, a cars forum and PF I would suspect that there is something wrong <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_think.gif" alt="" /> ...
