Well, I am DarkAngel and depending on whom you shall speak to is whether you get I am the angel of mercy, giving or death....and because I love angelic images, fairy images and collect angels.

I have been called each one, and the last one is the one they refer to when they end up in the hospital...they all say don't let her come visit me cause everytime she visits someone they usually end up dying. I guess they don't factor in the idea that the person was gravely sick to begin with and it was a coincidence that I was the one they decided to leave after visiting...and I don't mean right away...LOL

The other reason is because my signature color is black. Hence DarkAngel..

I am rally not a bad person, just seems to be that way...I bluff well

My username came to me one day while using the "Oriental Institute of Chicago's" website.

I have a passion for ancient history, especially those cultures that arose in the fertile cresent of the Middle East, those of Mesopotamia and Egypt. Archeologists have been unable to dig in ancient Sumer and AKKad in the last 15 years or so and scholars have had a chance to catch up with all the material that has accumulated. I was browsing this material in the virtual museum at the Oriental Institue when I decided to use a Sumerian name as my username. All the names of the first cities of civilization were taken, of course, as were many of the more notable names of people from myth or legend. So I went back about 5000 years and tried the name of one of the earliest recorded rulers of the city of Kish. To my current knowledge the only thing known about him is that he is the first ruler of the all the lands to attach the city name to his own name of Melam. Melamkishi(k), hence Melamkish.

Perhaps there are a few exceptions. Blimey. When did you go back about 5000 years and tried the name of one of the earliest recorded rulers of the city of Kish?

Post subject: Re: The source of our usernames.
I got my username through a lifelong series of events.

1.) My given name is Murray; and for some reason children in school either thought it was funny, or that it did not fit me. In either case i was rarely called Murray.

2.) Because of #1 I began to use my middle name; which i guess was not as funny, and / or did fit me. I am still often called that by people.

3.) When I became comfortable with my creative, and philosphical nature; I often changed my name to fit the situation.

4.) I was a huge Bugs Bunny cartoon fan {I wonder why he never won an Oscar...? heheh}; and would/will greet people with: "What's up Doc?"; because of this in some circles I became known as "Doc".

5.) Once in a philosphical mood, I considered that everyone is a "Doctor", that is to say expert in the knowledge of themselves. I tried to explain this to some people in some circles; but they asserted the I was "The Doctor".

6.) Even as an adult artist/musician, people still told me that Murray was a funny name, or the it did not fit me; so I began refusing to tell people my name, and instead insisted that they call me what they thought fit me best. ironicly, most people then began to call me Murray.

7.) In the early 1990's I was involved in the production of a Hip Hop/ Rap CD; and everyone only used their "streetnames"; so I adopted "ART(:" as my "Streetname".{ It is pronounced Art Progressive; because the little smiley is headed towards the future, and not the more common alternative.} It led to too many questions In my opinion; so I only used it on that project.

8.) Sometime in the early 1990's I was in need of a username for the very few groups I visited online; and desided upon "Whazizname". I liked it alot, it was/is unique, and people actually seemed to understand why i used it. To me the username is only part of the name. People that know me, and or my creations well know that I am "Dr. Mahatma Whazizname".

I use the name now on almost all of my creations. In fact, my personal music projects are credited to "Whazizname & WhuddevaCountz".

Yes, all Tardis have what is called the chamelion circuit, that permits them to immitate anything. For example, when the Master had used up his last regeneration, he made his Tardis look like a statue that was indented to be an evil creature drawn to a good plant "Traken" to be become a statue and then to errode away. What he was really after was to gain the powers of the Keeper of Traken so to amoung other things beable to regenerate a new body. But he failed, he did then change his tardis to look like a clock and then kidnapped someone, and with the fading powers of almost being keeper he used that person to provide himself with a new body.

Every Tardis has this ability, except for the old type 40 used by the Doctor. When the Doctor stole it the first time, it was in the shop for repairs, because that circuit was broken and the police call box was the last form that it had before it broke. Latter after his trial (episode War Games) and being sentenced to live on earth, he was giving the same Tardis, with additional damage to its circuits and the critical knowlege of time mechanics blocked from his memory, as part of his punishment. In time he repaired everything else but that one circuit.

Another time when he was back home, I think that was when he became the President of the Time Lords. He again fled from his world, and just happened to again steal the same Tardis with the broken circuit.

Ah... alter-egos. Happy days, happy days (wipes sentimental tear from eye). I used to run a couple of bulletin boards in my home town. I was originally a co-sysop of a board that was over-regulated to the point of boredom. So I started up one at home and had a lot of fun under the name Groucho Caesar. Then I got bored with *that*, so I started a third, mystery BBS run by an insane alter-ego I called Eric J. Fileworthy. "Eric" would go online and attack my other boards with sarcasm and non-sequiturs...

Groucho Caesar is an obscure in-joke. I'm a big BIG fan of the Marx Brothers, and Groucho's real name was Julius... simple.

My Avatar is Garfield, because for some unknown reason I have been called that by quite a few people over the years, all independantly of each other. It's not like I'm orange with black stripes... I just have this inate Garfieldness in attitude, especially according to the womenfolk I meet.
