Depth of field? ack... I still can't figure our the depth of field function. Every render I do has my figure all blurry and behind them in focus.

I usually create my backgrounds this way: I render the background in parts and then blur them in relation to their distance.

I think I'll quit on this one ...
Been thinking of going out with my camera to take some nice shots for inspiration and background, but it's raining since days, no light, no colors...
On the other hand this challenge is more one for the "postworkers", and, as you already know, I'm not . It's not my ambition. I love making portraits, that's what I really enjoy. Elaine is a beauty, she deserves it

If you need backgrounds you should check DeviantArt.com for free Stock images.

I found several good one over there which one could use directly, though I combined several one to get the look I want.

But we also have enough Poser trees available to create forests (at least i have enough), so it shouldn't be too hard to do without postwork. RDNA has several forest autumn scenes too (eg Microcosm, and they're still 50% off)...

And if you have no autumn leaves on your trees, one only needs a new map/transmap (leaves files are also over at DA). I did that with the DAZ Cherry Tree which works beautifully.
