Just got one of my pictures removed from R'osity. If you can't have a picture then why have a freebie you can't use to put on your characters in their site?

Here is an update! I sent this to R'osity.

   I would like to dispute this because it shows no nudity. The unit on her chest and bottom half to me
was in harmless fun as a futuristic suit.
Secondly I would like to know just why do you allow free things that you deem sexual to be posted for download?
I have been with Renderosity for nearly 9 years and have never ran into this. The person on her Bio to me
is offensive if you want to be fair about it as she shows her own picture making the picture to suggest she
has no clothes on.  In all fairness just how far do you draw the line with this? I wish you would look at it again and
restore my art. Because it shows nothing.

I think that being a paid moderator on a site like Renderosity means to be really involved in art, and for what concerns your picture, in sci-fi and comics.

What I don't like of the deleting of your picture is the long and annoying rant, that makes me think that the moderator is following more his or her prude instinct than the rules of the site.

It happened to me to delete some pictures in the past, due to our TOS, what I do usually is contact the author, refer to the rule and explain why that rule exists. I've to say that except for very few cases the result is that the user leave the site.

Turning back to your picture, I can't see, and I'm talking sincerely, where are the sexual contents. I analyzed it and I can't find a sexual content because of the tons of comics and sci-fi that I keenly read or watched till now, especially from South-American authors (that I consider the best ones). So for me your character there is a cyborg with prosthesis and it could be questioned if it's accetable to show women's genital of a healty model (their album is overflowing of them) and not a naked women with prosthesis.

More specifically it reminded me of the prosthesis of the Meta-Barons, a saga written by Jodorowsky and illustrated by Gimenez (google it)

From now on Kenny, remember that "This action has been noted in your member record" , you, pervert . Now there is a target on your house on google maps   . That record will be never deleted.

I had a run in with a mod a while back. There was a reflection on the breast of one of my characters that if you squinted just right and really have a stick up your butt about it might look like there was poke through where her nipple was concerned. I am pretty sure the mods there are 40 year old virgins living in their moms basement. It is ridiculous.

Yeah.. the censorship on Renderosity seems VERY nonsensical and inconsistent to me.  I've seen many images of women or males showing most of thier bodies, see through lingerie and such go un censored and they had been there for MONTHS while others that are freebies or something have a "CENSORED" stamp on them and all the pic shows is a close up of thier face or them in a halter top.  All naughty/interesting bits are either not in the picture in ANY way or they are fully covered.  But I can go into the marketplace and, oh look, an itsy-bitsy bikini where I can see part of her nipple.

I've seen strange things about this at Renderosity (I whish I could find the screen capture I did    ) one that called my atention was a linkt to a morph set for Apollo Maximus in the free stuff, removed the preview because of Nudity, this is the destination of the link http://carodan.blackraven3d.com/ (I see no real or offensive nudity, I don't know you, friends   ) , and at the side a picture of a man clearly violently killed covered and in the middle of a puddle of blood, ok, I won't feel perturbed by neither of this picture but my girl asked me, "How ugly, who did such a thing!" but that's me, my way of thinking that feel violence is way more offensive than natural nudity (anyway I didn't find nudity there)   some people don't understand the difference between nudity and porno

Just got a warning too cause i used the lyrics from a song by Elton John. Which resulted in me writing my first blog overthere to say it s**** in a nicer wording! They removed one of my pics too some time ago. I'm thinking of delting the whole gallery overthere as the site is no longer a good art showcasing/promoting site. If it weren't for the store I would leave.that site completely.

Their double standards are outrageous!!

Posetteforever is also an art community, more than that, we're a group of friends . Renderosity has a large users base, and that is what is needed to promote the artist himself or herself. My suggestion, as already written on the forum, is to share the pictures everywhere is possible, squeezing out the resources of those commercial sites (deviant art exists in order to make a profit like almost everything else). Make profit is not the evil, but the "community factor" is absolutely secondary. Thanks to my ad blocker I can visit those places without being submerged of advertisings, but I'm still too much absent from our album   so my time will be dedicated only to it  

No need to mask the link posfan, you can even share the link to your deviantart page, there are people here that appreciated almost all aspects of your art.
