Post The 2011 Official Halloween Party of Posetteforever

Dear friends

I'm here to announce the opening of our HALLOWEEN FAIR !

Your steady, efficient, very productive administrator (       ) ... That's ME oiled and dusted our carousel. It looks like new !

Ok, I'm LATE, as usual, but I can't remember a single time that we were on time , here at Posetteforever . So it's a tradition   ...

I'm going to setup a dedicated gallery in our album for your SCARY picture (not too scary please ... Tormie cries if they are too scary ) and it will stay there till the (belated) Christmas Party

Guess who will knock your door this year for the belated halloween party ? ( FRIDGE or treat   !!! )

Just have fun guys and gals , here, in my country, the parties for halloween are only an imitation of the original, because there is not this tradition (they changed it in something else during the last 20 centuries) but posetteforever is not-a-place, it exists in virtual land, so we can have a party whenever we want       !!

PARTY PARTY PARTY

Unfortunally, I didn't manage to get Poser running again after my system upgrade, yet.
Don't know, what went wrong. All other apps running on wine are working as expected, only Poser don't
I had a setup for a halloween render prepared, already. And now I cannot finish it
I'll try another re-install, but not tonight.
I have some other issues, too. Flash plugin is crashing my browser, still, can't even watch YouTube right now...

An arm missing here and guts falling out there. Yep! We won't make it to scary for Tormie.

Flash player - what flash player?

(Sorry folks my Firefox, is set to disable popups, and plugins, and things - so the internet experience for me is devoid of much content. I don't see emoticons, and all kinds of things, I'm just a kid inside, and need to be protected from these evils).

Ahjah, hope you get your Poser up and running again. I'm in the process of upgrades, and re-installs too. I hope I get things done soon too.

All hallows eves' celebrations sound good to me, glad we are behind as usual, it would not do to break tradition, and be on time, or early.

Amish doesn't see our Koloboks ? You're loosing a lot of the site because they are extensively used, especially to break the "language barrier", here we are from different countries with different languages , the more we use them, the less there is the danger of a misunderstanding (there were a lot of fights here because a bad translated phrase )...

I'm sorry Andreas, if you're suing Ubuntu or Kubuntu, they said that the best release is the 10. , the 11. uses a totally new technology... I can only suggest you to switch back and just have fun with your Poser (even if I strongly suspect that you overwritten the old S.O. with an upgrade so you can't go back without a big backup and format , in this case you need another HD in order to make it very safe )

Yes, I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 and I can't simply switch back to the 10 version.
The new technology you are referring to is a new desktop env called Unity. I don't use it, too fancy for me. worse than M$.
I'm on good ole Gnome/Nautilus, so everything should work, I'll figure that out. After all it's a Debian, still.
