( AKA, 'I'm getting old...') I knew just enough about 'spawning morph targets' from within Poser to shun them. Then ~0330 local, I woke, saying, 'mumble, mumble, Load external morph target ??' Quick hunt found, http://www.posersoftware.com/documentation/12/Poser_Reference_Manual/Tools/Modifying/Creating_Morphs_in_Other_Applications.htm#h Yes. I could use my PMX-ported door as the base, the wide-morphed version as Poser's morph target. Couple of 'gotchas': Remember PMX Editor mirrors OBJ at export. Loading morph target's menu lurks under 'Object', between 'figure' and 'display'. There's no Poser import scaling option for the morph target, so you must export both door and target from PMX Editor at same scale. Here, Poser wanted ~3.5% original scale, so I set PMX Editor export scale as 0.035, loaded the door at 100% original... Click on arrow to right of dial's 'value', settings, set min-limit 0, max-limit eg 1.5. Who'd have thought ?? ----------------------------------- rico Wednesday, 16 March 2022, 10:16 AM Re: PMX Morph To Poser Morph Dial. ----------------------------------- :D Thank you very much Nik   ! "Who'd have thought ??" indeed  . It makes me wonder, what else can be accomplished with the morph target. Hmmm :mmmh: , should be interesting to see, to what varied uses others have put morph targets into effect ... ----------------------------------- Nik Wednesday, 16 March 2022, 05:09 PM Re: PMX Morph To Poser Morph Dial. ----------------------------------- A couple of head-scratchers: I cannot yet make PMX pose-files work PMX morphs. Cannot see what I'm doing wrong, just will not work, claiming --Despite evidence of my eyes-- that a morph-swung whatsit is un-moved... Found the hard way that morph-target's swing should be set as upper limit for Poser's dial. Else swung thing 'sorta explodes'. It's only funny the first time... Different PMX models need different scaling. That nice door was ~3.5 %. This grubby locker and its mirrored 'bookend' needed 2.65%... https://bowlroll.net/file/270348 ----------------------------------- rico Saturday, 19 March 2022, 12:45 PM Re: PMX Morph To Poser Morph Dial. ----------------------------------- :thumb: Nice find Nik, thank you kindly  ! :mmmh: For some reason it reminds me of Resident Evil
