-----------------------------------
There is another user who is begenning to add trouble on the site  , he is Ellpro, He began to post today, first insulting Posy, then posting a link to his commercial site, then a link to a strange page... I don't know why but it seems that we're not cute enough to him.

Actually he received 2 warnings (5 warnings means ban) but I've a very bad feeling about him, so I turned on the approval mod, it means that every time he post, his posts need an approval from me or pangor (if you want to help and be added to the list please say it to me)...

He's active on renderosity and poserpros and other sites with the same nick.

Actually I need an opinion about this matter from you friends

And it is what I wrote to him in PM, when he replied to me about the "free emails" who were recently prohibited for registration.

As I replied in one of your recent posts we're a group of friends and this is not a commercial site (there are no banners, shops or spam), so we don't care too much of how many members we gain. Basically we're an open group, but we become a closed one if we're attacked and accept new memberships only on invitations. It changes nothing for us because, as I said, this is not a commercial site.

Actually it looks like you don't like our "philosophy", watching your posts.

Recently we had some "strong" discussions with some members and we're actually a little "reactive" when a problem appears, it explains why we reacted in that ways to your recent posts.

If you have something against us you can say it clearly, our reaction to clear or subtle criticism would be the same.

We try to be friendly to new users but sometimes it's impossible.

I went to his sit and had a look. Me not into that kind of thing but still with an open mind does not understand his gift but has understood him. He is a graphics artist with a website and is married. He seems to have some good ideas and that is why I keep an open mind. The anal probe thinggy I think might have started with Southparks show with an anal probe that was planted in Carman in one episode. I have noticed that on his web site he seems to be a fan of Southpark. I have looked at some of his art as well and he is good with morphs and light. He to me is experamenting with the values of what can be done with Poser nude or not. GP and DV have done the same as well and I am tring to make this fair. He just to me did not see the rules. As for Posy I think some times we joke at her to get a reaction and don't really see the harm in it. I have done it in forums here and always had a good laugh with her. Maybe that was a reaction of fitting in as well. We all have to cailm down with all if this and see just really what was the intent. We are starting to build walls again and be afraid of people. Thilda I think you made contact with him if I remember right at another site. Talk to him and explain what had happen with us here. He just doesn't know why we are on guard here but we simply can't stay this way forever. If it leaks back to the other forums in other sites, some people might think that we have become a cult. :mmmh: Thats not us folks. We are friendly. He just has a site and has directed his link to it for a get to know me thing. I don't think he even sales stuff there. :mmmh: Ask him if he would like a link and a banner put where the rest are. Just my thought but he has stated nude was sometimes a bad thing but not when you are experimenting with realism and light on a poser subject. Him being a Graphics Artist one would think it would come up with the nude and other adult subjects now and then. We have had adult subjects here. It's been a playful manner. Again just my thought. :) Kenny is waiting for the Axe. :uuh:

You're very kind hearted Kenny, and I'm in shame reading your post  .

I don't know. In the past I felt very guilty not to have taken a firm decision before things went to the big mess but actually the red lamp turned on for these reasons:

- Offending Posy: Posy is what she is but personally It's ok for a simple warning

- Saying that in his site there are nice props for the dork includes the anal probe,
for this reason I said to him to point the link directly on the props themsleves.
In the past me too have found useful things on sites who have "strange"
things in the catalogue but I pointed directly to the page of the
 prop

- For the same reason I removed the link to his site, in his first page he says
"please visit my online stores", so publishing his link here is a simple way
to redirect to his stores and also a simple way to address search engines
bots. In any case it's allowed but only if in the site there is also a link
to us. For this reason I removed some sites from our link raster in the front
page, for example the one of Planit3d. We kept it for years but they never had
a link to us in their link page. I've the link to renderosity because of the
"sponsored by" link under my pictures there and PF is on their link page too.

- He has a direct attitude to porn as far as I'm concerned. No problem about it
as long as it doesn't involve our site in such things, in his topic "where the sun
don't shine" he promotes directly his anal thing...

Actually I explained him what kind of site we're, that we're not interested in big numbers simply because here nothing has to be sold. If he agrees he will come back. It's the reason why I think he will never come back.

I know it is your site with a big responsiblity Davide but it might have been a joke about the anle probe. He seems to be interested into talking in the forums with feedback but we have to remember Posy is loved but she is opened with being joked at just like us in the forums as we joked at ourselves. It's just part of the talk here at Posetteforever. You made some changes with Posy and someone seen something about her and made a comment. I think he knows she is part of the site. I don't know. :mmmh: Every sence we had that attack we now have more soilders in this and more barriers to throw up. I thought Plan-it3D had put a banner for you on there site. :mmmh: If not maybe GP being a mod over there can make that possible for you. :) We all have diffirent ways and ideas. That maybe a no-no but the other stuff didn't look bad. It's like the site (Posetteforever) has been raped. Now we trust know one to make love to it. :mmmh: Keep the light on guys. If it was you knocking on the front door, you would want the welcome mat thrown done as well. I hope this all gets back to normal soon. :mmmh:

Since the anouncement of the johnamorph, i have gotten messeges from ppl who want to join the site but can't - because they have free email. I know what the rule is on that, i'm wonder what to tell them.

Of each of the free items on his site, he had to feature that one? I think that along with the topic name was an attempt for him to test the limits of this site.

Unless he was commisioned to create it for a illustration for some book or television program on the subject or something like that, that probe is a very strange thing to spend his time creating.

I don't know. It's a mess. It's ok Thilda. I thought you might know him from some site. Maybe someone should talked to him. The e-mails are starting to be a problem because some don't want there e-mails to be blown away with junk mail and other problems as well as keeping their privacy. Which is why some have off site e-mails. No other site has this problem of my knowlege. I think if he was a problem that others would band him as well. But go to his site and he seems to be of the norm. Just someone that has an anal probe for poor Dork to be violated with. :eh: :mmmh: :hand: :nono: :uuh:   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: It's nothing we havn't seen before or heard of and it won't be the last. So how are we going to work out the e-mail problem. We need to get this worked out. As far as the guy here. I don't see him as a threat. Time to move on. :mmmh:

About Ellpro, nothing happened but a warning from pangor and me and the PM I showed you in this topic. I think the same of pangor, the guy was testing the limits of the site and probably they are too small for him.

About the free emails. We don't have a limitation on multiple accounts, but it become a problem if someone use this emails to make a mess. The alternative is a closer watch to the new users' accounts and the ability of the moderators to do their "work".

I'll explain what I mean better: If someone start to joke with the site the moderator that are online at the moment should know how to manage the forum, for example how to lock a topic waiting for the arrival of an admin.
No one of you is paid to help here, I'm sorry ( I can assure you that if I would have more money  I would pay you all ), however, in order to remove the email limitations I need more cooperation from you all. Pangor know very well the software of the site but I don't know the level of the other moderators, every time I got you the ranks without asking. In any case it's not such a difficult thing, here is the link for the documentation:

http://www.phpbb.com/support/guide/#section5

There is a similar moderator's panel in the album. Each one of you is a moderator on all the forum as part of the "moderators" group, so near the topic posted by an user you can see some colored flags. if you use the yellow flag you send a warn to the user (light violation of the rules), the red one means ban and the blu one send a complain about the topic to an admin (me). The blu one is available to all members. Only the admin can see the green one, to unban an user.

So, friends, In order to "free" the emails I need more surveillance on the site from all the staff members, who should know what to do and how. We can "sign a pact": if you learn how to use the tools of the moderators I'll remove the limitation.
No one of you should feel forced about what I wrote, think about it because it's a sort of job...
