Hybrid drives are a bit of a head-scratcher.

Budget hybrids are only 5400, so slow if you don't want something from their SSD cache.

7200 hybrids are VERY EXPENSIVE, and don't yet have a long warranty...

If I must put Poser on C: for a reliable 'path', this probably applies to my new TurboCAD Pro, too.

This suggests that, if I keep my archive on a mirrored D:, then three identical WD Black 1TB (7200 & 5-yr warranties) will do, saving a LOT of money...

( I could afford to duplicate graphics card, drive a third screen !! )
