Does anyone know if fractint is still being developed or maintained?  My most modern version is for Dos, and I have not found a newer version yet.  The unix and Windows 3.x ports that I have tried were of older versions with features removed compared tot eh Dos binaries of the save version.

I got my latest version at http://spanky.triumf.ca/www/fractint/getting.html

I don't use it as much as Apophysis and others, but it's a neat little program . . .

Thank you, I will check to see if it is a newer version than what I already have.  Of my older works, the only one that survived (Sea Urn II) is one where I used fractint to create a height field to generate the landscape.
