Anyone tried or using Antics 3D ??
http://www.antics3d.com/index.php

The base-program is free, it seems to import 3DS meshes, it allows animation etc etc
---

Bit of background...

I came to Poser (P_3) for a program that would let me re-create parts of my 'Floorplan' sets in close-up with posable people. I liked Poser so much I bought P_4...

IMSI's FP was very good at architecture, but lacked support by the company, lacked extensions such as 'texture mapping', OBJ imports etc. True, it was *wonderful* with 3DS, and was usually bundled with a TurboCAD version...

Snag was FP's 3DS support was limited to 'modest' mesh-file sizes, there was no documentation for adding 'morphable' imports to extend FP's own, and plan-file work-space was squeezed between program bloat and the old Window$ limit...

Then PCs began moving from 32 bit to 64. FP needed a complete re-write. Instead, IMSI licensed new core-code from CADSoft and replaced FP with 'TurboFloorPlan'. IIRC, this is still unable to read FP files...
