12 Expand "All Objects" and select all the body parts you can use standard windows command like select the first then <br /> Shift key + select the last one, now click on Merge Items, give the name Body and select Delete Source Objects

14 You'll end with an object called Body_jv select it and go to "Save Items" use the Browse buttons to find a good place <br /> where to save it and give them a good name, I added _JOIN at the end and save a Vertex Map File too, this is very important <br /> give the same name as the obj for easy reference.

18 Start UVMapper then load your morphed Don, go to Edit/Select/All or press Ctrl+A, go to Edit/Assign/To Group <br /> then give the name Body_jv and OK, save your obj with the default options

24 Now it's a great idea to have the python scripts open with our tools, open the Hierarchy Editor and with the imported <br /> prop selected open the Group Editor (3) then click on Spawn Props (4), now we have all the body parts as single props <br /> and the imported prop still there, select it in the hierarchy Editor then press DEL key, it mean delete it.

25 Now lets export the HipNG prop (2) with the options we allways use (1) then delete it too, at this point is very important to delete <br /> the body parts not afected by the body morphs, it will optimize your full body morph not afecting useless body parts <br /> and increasing memory use, then load Don

27 Now tourn Genitalia off and you will see the hip don't match with the full body morph, let's fix it <br /> select the hip then go to te Properties in the parameters panel then go to Add Morph Targets, load the HipNG <br /> saved in step 25, and give the same name you used for the morph, go to the parameters

28 The HipNG morph will be MORPHNAME 1, in my case Muscular 1, set it to 1.000, go to Figure/Create Full Body Morph (2) <br /> give it the same name you used for the single morphs, then click in the Zero MorphERC tool, and done, go to the body <br /> of your figure, and test your new morph, set genitalia on and off and see if everything is OK then save your figure

The final result, yes I know, it's not a good morph, but it's not that bad at all <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> Some recomendations: <br /> The procedure looks tedious and long, but once you do it twice you will do it very fast, anyway the procedure <br /> is by far better than the old procedure of loadinging every morph target body part by body part, the procedure <br /> of joining vertices to create a single mesh is not needed just for Blender, you need to to the same to use <br /> the smooth tool in Zbrush as well, a good idea is to work metodically, Creating several morph in Blender, <br /> doing the UVmapper procedure for all this morphs then the Compose part, then the Poser part, it's a fast <br /> way of working, allway have a copy of the original Poser exported obj, the joinned obj and the map in the same <br /> folder as the morphs for easy browsing, I'm shure you can see some steps are not needed with characters thant <br /> doesn't have any kind of alternate geometry, most of female, but P6 Jessy have one.

Great tutorial rayera. I'm having a problem with the export though. For export you said to have Selection Only, UVs, Rotate X90 and Morph Target. I downloaded the new version of blender and I can't find the Morph Target option for when I need to do my export. Any help you could give me would be great.

That IS the option that I am looking for in Blender 2.48a, which I found in Blender 2.46. In Blender 2.48a that I downloaded today doesn't even give me the same menu as what you are showing here. So if you and I are using the same version then the only thing I can think of is that there must be a step or two that I missed somewhere.

Marv, I think I've found the problem, I have different options because when I install a new Blender release I never remove the application data located in document and setings, I uninstalled everything and removed all directories and reinstalled Blender 2.48a and now I have the same options as you <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/thumb.gif" alt="" /> <br /> I did a test morph and the option "morph target" now is "Keep Vert Order" just put your pointer over it and wait some seconds and read the help <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/wink.gif" alt="" /> <br /> The morph I did worked perfectly, please try and comment how did it work for you. <br /> <br /> Hope I've been helpful, and happy morphing <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_dance.gif" alt="" />

And I found out why the head shifted off the body and dropped to the floor. I was inadvertantly moving the head object when I was doing my morphing so when I exported it the head wasn't in it's proper position. So how do I move the camera angles around so I can get closeup to work on an object without physically moving the object like I have been?

I'll be doing some morphing here in a few days or so and will be sure to post my results. <br /> <br /> Wings 3D has been good for me when I'm doing props and will continue using it for that purpose. Blender is proving to be extremely useful for morph work and I am enjoying using it very much. I have tried using Morph putty with some success and a friend of mine let me try out Argile which is rather easy to use as well. Overall I think I gotta give it to Blender. Have you tried Morph Putty and/or Argile?

Happy you are on it now! <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/thumb.gif" alt="" /> <br /> I used Wings 3D before Blender to do some modeling, but now I'm hooked to Blender, I promised a tutorial about basic modeling props and/or dynamics, <br /> but I have some problems with new features of blender (I think at the end will do the tutorial in the old way <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_think.gif" alt="" /> ) <br /> I think I tried morph putty some time ago, but I think it works using existing morphs in the character :mmmh:, I use sometime Poser sculpt tool <br /> for a fast and easy morph, works fine, never tried Argile, I have Zbrush, but will not upgrade to new versions any more, <br /> since for me Blender (a free software) have the functions I use.

No problem. Just take a look at the top of the page and hit the first one and go from there. A lot of people are using blender. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_shifty.gif" alt="" /> Except myself. I use 3DS Max. It does what I need it to do. But blender is free and a great modeler. Welcome to the site and no you are not being a jerk. We are a friendly place and like to help.
