Hi, I was looking for an easy explanation of bump mapping, came across this...

Okay, it is 'general purpose' rather than Poser, so does not cover eg P4's bump-map 90' offset etc, but nice to know what's happening 'under the hood'. If sub-links baulk, press 'refresh' as their server seems slow.

FWIW, Morphography has an interesting tut on P4 bump maps' 90' twist, scroll down...
