I used to chat on Undernet (IRC) for a number of years, and had my own channel on there as well. I can't remember how to reg for a channel, I think my ex helped me figure it all out. The only reason to have it reg is to keep a bot in there so it's open all the time and others can't take control of it. So it is a good idea to have it reg. I haven't chatted much on IRC in the last couple of years so I don't know which server(net) is best...before undernet was pretty good, but there may be a lot more now and a lot of better ones. I'm interested, just let me know which net and I'll be there :)
