 Nope can't be that. Even I am on Windows 98 SE when I am on PF or the net. But I am using Firefox. 
You might want to convert back to IE6 or 5.5 to help you out. I used 5.5 and it seemed to do ok for 
browsing. I hope this helps as well.  :thumb:
