Anyhoo... Using Morpheus's Bettie Page Set props (very handy all things considered) I whipped up a quick render to check out my lighting theory - using blue & red lights all the better to track where each shadow was coming from...

Shadows do indeed match up with the videos I watched.  However...

Since I want to render stills, I'm going to have to rethink a little.  Shadows that you ignore while watching movement become glaringly obvious in a still picture.

Time to ponder...
