I just read at Poser DAZ Freebies that for DAZ3D Generation 3 figures "Materials for the female Unimesh figures also work on the male Unimesh figures"... https://poserdazfreebies.miraheze.o...als_and_Shaders

Is this true? So a base texture for H3 would work on S3?

And a V4 texture would work on M4?

Yes, so long as they are the same unimesh generation.

So "The Girl", though popularly advertised amongst the Generation 3 figures, cannot share their textures as she is a different mesh.  From memory there was a version of "The Girl", that can share their textures but she's then not compatible with her own.

Yes, I think it's 'The Girl V3UV' that can use V3's textures.
