Set your Transparent instead of a background white and draw your grass then get the high res one sided square and put the map there and just put the grass where you like.

This image has the marks of an image that draws viewer
to a point..my eyes go striaght to the dark area between the trees..I noticed the butterfly and mushrooms tickle my eyes...but, I hear a noise from the deeper in the woods...and....I look at the forebidding darkness and wonder.. =D>  then I realize
