Thanks Ozy, I find doing them in the monotone sometimes brings out more and can also hide some of thelittle things I don't like about the picture, I'm still pretty bad working with the male charcters and they still don't look "real" enough for me, I think it's the texture of their skin, so doing it this seems to work for them. It's also a little more artsy at times than with color...but when I showed this to my boyfriend just before I posted it, he said "It's looking good, your almost there." I asked him why he thought I wasn't done with it, and he said becasue it needs color! I know now not to ask his oppion of things anymore hehehe.

He's interested in my hobbies, he just is one of those type people that has trouble seeing "outside the box" and doesn't always understand my art. He also wishes I would find a way to make money off it. lol
His interests are computers and doing stuff with his hands, like woodworking and things like that. I wish I could do some of the things he does. We each have some different interests, but we also work well as a team because he can teach me stuff and I can teach him things.

eheheh... My painting hobby is very personal. Nobody of the people I know could believe I do such things....

Are you talking about the 3d art, or do you paint on canvas as well? I know your 3d art is great, so I'm sure if you paint as well, it's great too. Would love to see some of it if you do and want to show it.
