Pic Description: Today November 15th is the 434 year since the city where I live was founded, (I never quite understood the diference between city and town, I think we have a relative small population of 500000, so I don't know if its town or city) Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz is the full name and mean Holly faith on the True Cross, Santa Fe just for short, and is the head city of the Santa Fe state, this is an administrative and comercial city almost no industries so we have an extremaly clean environment, surrounded by rivers and nature, is almost an island, considering all beautiful cities and natural beauties my country has, maybe Santa Fe is very modest, but as one of the older cities from my countries has a lot of history, our constitution was redacted here, but I think is underestimated by the rest of my country. I didn't get more beautiful pictures and the most beautiful photographs I have are from a non digital camera and my scanner doesn't work on Linux, but you can see Plaza de Mayo (May Square) the main sqare and the Gray House, where the Gobernor is, and some other old buildings like the Jesuitic's School, the Cathedral,. The Old white church is the St Francis Convent, a very beautiful and amazing place with an special mood and full of stories, The old french hunging bridge when was being restaured some years ago, and a view of the Costanera (Cost road) the avenue that goes by the Setubal lagoon a very beautiful place to walk and seat to drink some matés.

I would think where I come from it would be a City. The population in some areas would be 30000 and below to have been called a town. A very beautiful place. One should be very lucky to live there. Great photos and thank you so much for sharing your part of the world with us.

Thanks people, here Santa Fe is a city (ciudad) in my lenguage, what I don't quite understand is the diference of the english words city and town, I don´t know if they refer to population or importance, of course a big city like New Yourk or Rio de Janeiro or Roma or even Buenos Aires must be called a city but I don't quite get it in no so big cities
And yes Kenny, this is the place in the world I deeply love so I feel lucky, anyway there is something I can't show in a picture that special "I don't know what is it" that this place has and that everybody that comes here do feel, even, as I sayed, if this is not the most popular place in my country, maybe is the people, our two soccer team, the bear, the music, our food
