MainBg is DAE, which Poser cannot grok, but Autodesk''s classic free FBX Tools will export to FBX. (I tried exporting to OBJ+MTL, got ''Insufficient Parameters'' error.)
Import this to Poser at ~750% scale (~7.5 x default 100%). Auto-loads textures. There are many sub-rigs, providing other skylands, layered sky-dome, fight stage etc.
This Pool area only needs 9 of the many sub-rigs: Polys 24~~27, 31~32, 35, 41(water) and 65.
When deleting Poly#0, do *not* use ''Delete Attached figures [_] ?'' as nukes scene...
Poser can sub-divide some models, but not this, so geometry LOD is ''as-is''. A few local Superfly test-renders (CPU-only) helped me get the lighting ''nice''. I sent full job to my network-render ''Box'' as Superfly, 96 pixel-samples, progressive, 64 ''vols+buckets''. It ran in ~40 mins but, IMHO, was a bit too fuzzy. I re-ran with 256 pixel samples, which took ~ 5 hours. |
