Pic Description: Dork was making his usual rounds, in search of better props and textures, but as usual he was stuck in the slums.

P4NM rendered in Poser 4, with my own textures on him and his personal accessories.

The background facade is called ''Cottage Porch'' by an unknown modeller (no readme included, likely once a freebie from ShareCG) and it''s all very blue and pallid, so I had to apply a yellow filter to the image after rendering to alleviate the lifelessness of the set. Not much could easily be done (short of spending an hour with the Grouping Tool) to fix that wood immediately on the other side of the transparent glass door, so I just left it as is.

After recently making some new outfit arrangements for Posette, I wanted to do the same for Dork, but his options are sorely lacking. I was an avid prop gatherer back in the P4 heydeys, but for every Dork outfit I collected, Posette has ten. Dork is garbed here in the default P4 dress pants, shoes, and cowboy hat. His upper jacket/tie is an old thing called ''3 Piece suit for the Dude'' from Ghastley, which was probably considered quite good in its era, but would not be acceptable by contemporary texture mapping standards. In making this texture to match the one I did for the pants, I found the vest material is not separated in the UV data, but maybe no one noticed before because the item only used direct object coloring, and didn''t even have a texture map. I didn''t feel like fooling around with UV Mapper to fix it, as there are also other problems-- if you look closely, you can see the model smudges its texture on the sides of the jacket (despite my making a relatively hi-res texture). In any case, I don''t suppose I or anyone else would have complained about it twenty-five years ago when the jacket model was fresh, so one has to make allowances to continue playing with P4NM these days. One good thing was that the clothes fit Dork instantly and perfectly. I didn''t even have to touch one scale dial or turn off any of his underlying body parts, so that was a big plus and time-saver.

Dork also wears here the iconic ''RJ_Stash'' by RJ. Though I don''t recall that anyone bothered in the actual P4 era, the thing actually looks pretty nice with a decent texture/bump/transparency made according to modern standards.
