Ah, that's true , they might pick up more pollutants like that. I'm still curious to try it though, just a bit in a bottle. Here, we sometimes treat the water with bleach in some areas for decontamination

Hi all Well rico, I wouldn't eat or drink bigger amounts of snow where I live. Snowflakes have more surface than raindrops and they fall more slowly, so they probably collect even more dirt from the atmosphere. Also I would avoid yellow snow in any case

Good evening ahjah, Leonidas, all ! Wow, my friend sends me videos of snow where she lives, but around here we don't get any. I've never been in it yet. Just a thought... if you collect the snow in a bottle & it melts, is it safe to drink, or boil? I mean it is frozen water shaped in unique crystals. I'm asking because in some areas, where there's lots of pollution in the air, the rain is very acidic & not safe for use unless it's first treated with chemicals . But, it might be nice to walk around in the snow one day (if I'm dressed warmly )
