Hi all!
With the vast array of 3D modelling programs around there is always something new to learn, especially with their interaction with Poser and each other.
Here you can ask your questions and share your techniques with all. We will all be learning together so take a seat and lets get modelling.

Hi Mosca,
I also use anim8or. And I beleive Den, another Admin here, uses it too. I find it good for most projects but always render in another program.
I also use Autocad 2002 for my job and do some 3D work there, but it's export filters are limited and often import poorly to other programs. I have used 3D Studio Max in the past, but not for some time and no longer have access to it.
There are a few other free modelers around that are supposed to be quite good. One I hear a lot about is Wings. Its from Japan and has a good following on line. I have installed it, but never had time to try to learn it. There are some tutorials on the site.

Mr. Jones is correct in saying that I use Anim8or for modelling. It does everything I want and need for now. Anim8or produces good results once you learn how to use it. While not as good as commercially available programs, it does a good job for a freebie.
