Um, I think the problem is vertex re-ordering, and just about every 3D app does it their own way... Work-arounds include going via UV mapper etc etc D'uh, at a pinch, I could *hand edit* original OBJ in Notepad... Begs question of how to find the relevant vertex, but that's easier than it seems: If 3D app can load OBJ and tell me the co-ordinates of selected vertex, Notepad's FIND can locate that number... Okay, my antihistamines have reduced sinus pain enough that I may sleep-- And should... |

That's why I think Composer should do this job. With this tool you can save the vertex order to a file and reimport it to the obj after editing. Of course, it will not work if you change the vertex overall count...

Um, an unlikely but effective contender for vertex twiddling is Anthony Appleyard's quirky 'Make Obj'.
