It's off topic, but I'm trying Vista 64 bit, it looks like a little better from the first one that I tried and the renders are faster. I'll play with it for a while ...

A great news I think for ahjah,    I WAS ABLE TO RUN Poser 6 IN UBUNTU  
and it runs even faster than P7  

I did it under Ubuntu 8.04.1 hardy,

and thru wine 1.1.3+3dmarkPatch-1

I downloade it from here http://www.getdeb.net/app/Wine

Hope it works for you friend so you can use Poser again and under Linux

Thanks, my friend.
I'll give it a try, when I have more time. I have to re-organize my whole sytem. Right now, it's a complete mess. Partitioning, that don't make sense anymore, leftovers of former win installation etc...
At the moment, I'm working with Kanotix linux. It's a Debian based on the Ubuntu kernel, but I'm on KDE. Maybe, I have to try Gnome to get Poser work
