I guess that fits, Posy, did inform us not too long ago that I am a god from Ancient Eqypt. :roll: and my avatars are of a warrior mage. Except for a certain other avatar that I was using for a while last year, the one of me as a penguin, but that was a different story.

If I had UV mapper 3 I would definatelly do a V3 version of NEA however with my UV mapper 2 this would take me way too much time,I only remmaped the head of Nea and it took me the most time on the whole project!
(ok I am a bit perfectionist...:whistle: )
Remmaping is the less creative part of all my projects and needs good nerves and tention,many many test renders and much work by hand... Simeon is still a WIP because of that... :roll:
So unless someone makes me a UV mapper 3 gift :wink: I don't plan a Nea/V3 :roll:

I have UV mapper v3, so after the links project is done, perhaps I can lend a hand. Will have to learn the program as I go, but hey what else is new. I'm still learning how to use Poser :lol: Just point me in the right direction and push. :)

I learned UV mapper 3 from the demo so you'll just need to make a few clicks
It's the spread function that helps very much for the remmaping of figures
I'll tell when I want your help!

Pitklad was so nice to help me to remap the hew necks of my three Valeri hybrids.
Valeri-V3 should be finished soon, and here is a little teaser:

She´s made from NEA´s head and V-3´s body.
She takes V-2 maps and I regrouped her so that V2 MATs will work, so you can change textures with one click.

Yes, all V3 bodymorphs work.
The neck is neither NEA nor V3 geometry, so if you really alter V3´s bodyshape, you might have to make a custom morph with magnets to better blend it in.

But it´s prety flexible as is, and most times you can get by with no extra morphs at all.

I wouldn´t mind a V3 mapped Posette or NEA, too.

BUT there is a problem, and that is the DAZ EULA.
V2 mapping is "free", so you can use it for other meshes, but V3 mapping is not.

So if you remap Posette to V3, she becomes a derivate work, and you have to encode her with V3 being the key, even if she contains no V3 mesh.

According to the V3 EULA, you are not allowed to copy V3´s mapping, her shape, and her joint setup.
At least not without encoding the new figure.
