Subject: Hello, New Member With First Morph Tutorial Results
Hi,
I am very happy to be here. I learned of the great tutorials available here and when I looked in it looks like this may be one of the best Poser communities around! Thanks for letting me join. :hi:

I started with the head morph tutorial for Blender. If you are a Renderosity member you can see the result here:

Posette Character Render on Rendo

If anyone can use this morph I'll post it on ShareCG.

I saw an image showcasing your Posette morph in the 3DCommune gallery; she looks good. :thumb: :clap: :clap:
Have you decided to share the morph?

Hi, Thanks for the welcomes and feedback everyone. I wasn't subscribed to the thread because of my forum options and I don't know if this site sends email on replies so I didn't some back for a while.

I would like to distribute the morph for Posette. She doesn't come with a blank CR2 file. This is my plan so far:

* Import my morphed OBJ file.
* Export a CR2
* Delete materials, and all other morphs with morph manager
* Distribute Cr2.
* Let people use Morph Manager to load the file.

Is this legal and reasonable?

Hi and happy holidays anycolorilike :hi:
The steps you're describeing are a legal way :thumb:
An other way to avoid copyright problems is to distribute a "crippled" .obj.
If you export an obj from Poser or most other 3D apps, the exported file contains parts of copyrighted mesh.
If you open the .obj in a text editor, simply delete all the lines starting with "V". Poser itself dont need this lines to make it work as a morph, but other applications will fail loading it cos there's no actual mesh.
I'm using this method for ditribution of single morphs. For morph sets, I prefere a "container" cr2, as you described above. :)
Sorry for my poor english :redface:

Hi, Finally got this packaged. I don't know why but I kept screwing up and losing a file or picking the wrong file etc. You can see it in the uploads section. Enjoy!
