Post PC Or Mac

#1  Marv 30 May 2011 21:25

Hi gang,

Quick question. A buddy of mine is getting rid of some of his old software and has some items he got at Daz3d a number of years back. He offered them to me but the problem is that they were all for the Mac and I run a PC. Can Mac formatted Poser files be converted to be used on a PC and if so how would I go about doing the conversion?

Thanks
Marv

As far as I can remember, once they are uncompressed, they should run without issue on either system.  I do recall that very early Mac file-systems (pre OSX) had a limit on the length of the file-path - but that should not be any issue at all on a modern PC.

I run both PC and Mac, and I can't recall any issues using my PC runtime library content on my Macs. Then again, I've only started playing with Poser again in the last couple of weeks...

Two of the figures in question are Victoria 3 and the other is the first Michael and Musclebound Mike from years ago.
