Not to take this thread off to nowhere land. Has anyone noticed all the "good looking" music artists out there these days. Question? would janis joblen, Moma Cass or even Barber Strisand make it big today? Me thinks not. and sad it is to think what wonderful things we have missed because some money hungery persons decided not to back a plain looking talent cuz she, or he did not fit a image.

Ok I'm done

I like good music, I don't see how an artist look, this is a teen age way of thinking. Talking about rock&roll it seems to me that good music make a lot of money, good looking or not. Here in Italy we have Vasco Rossi that is not exactly a good looking man but it is the only italian singer who can fill a whole stadium of fans... Good looking music artist who plays bad music stay on the stage only for a little time... time passes and they will be no more good looking...

It get's even more rediculous when you think about the fact that most people who buy music buy it to listen to, if they wanted something pretty to look at they would buy a poster instead. Plus that different ppl find different stuff attractive. Did you know that in the past few years several radiostations have refused to play music by Dolly parton, they think that she's too old. Like age has something to do with anything. Aparently a lot of ppl who like her music have been semi harrassing these radiostations, to get them to play her music, this was last year so i don't know how it is now.

Dolly Parton is sitting high and mighty still.Dollywood is still booming and she is representing Tennessee Country Singers and the State for people to come here and have a good time.So get you boots on TdaC and grab a guitar and come to Nashville.I no alot of musicians here seeing how I'm one of them.
