We're proud to announce two new interviews at PlanIt3D this week. Read all about the inner workings and upstanding goals of Maxon, the fine folks who bring us Cinema 4D, from Paul Babb at MaxonUSA . Also catch our artist interview with the spectacular clothing modeler extraordinaire, Baron Vlad Harkonnen, and find out what he's up to next. Both interviews are entertaining and enlightening and sure to kill some time while you surf the net from work. Yes we'll be happy to supply a note, for anyone caught surfing P3D by their bosses, with some obscure excuse as to how this could actually be advantageous to your work and therefore be considered work-related and beneficial to your company's growth and success. We cannot however guarantee that they will buy it.

We also have a pair of challenges currently running, free membership required to enter. Our image challenge will certainly bring in a variety of submissions. Render a pic of a simulated album cover in response to a request in our "Treasure Hunt" forum. Check out our "Contests and Challenges" forum for more details.

The second challenge is for the Cinema 4D folks out there. Damsel has thrown down the gauntlet -

[i:1abba1d112]"The theme is "Children's Toys". It can be anything from building blocks, dolls, toy trucks... and on to outside playground equipment and riding toys"[/i:1abba1d112].

Read the details at: http://www.planit3d.com/source/viewtopic.php?t=2100

Damsel would like to request that no small mammals be harmed in this challenge, however she did not say anything specifically about large mammals or reptiles.

So run, don't walk, to PlanIt3D's weekly entertainment extravaganza and be a part of the history-making as it happens. This could be something to tell your grandchildren about, you really don't want to tell them you were busy watching Fear Factor instead now, do you? In response to the overwhelming popularity of our last offer, free stuff will still remain free this week but this offer is subject to change at any given moment at the whim of site management.

[size=9:1abba1d112]Offer good from June 32, 2001 to July 0, 2000. Get your free stuff with no money down and up to 100% financing on approved credit. Tax, title and licensing is extra, offer does not apply to used meshes or textures deemed to be profane or provocative or to employees or representatives of PlanIt3D or their families. PlanIt3D cannot be held liable for any damages done to your computer while using anything downloaded from the Internet or for your atrocious driving habits while on the street - just don't forget to wear clean underwear.
