It's okay kenny, we know you are trying and I'm sure when davide awakens and has the time he will help you figure this out, until then kick back, and have a cold one

If worst come to worst you can send it to me, I then can upload to my server and post link in the free area. I haven't had any limit restrictions on my email to date. Of course the largest file was 3 MB. That came through fine. Also, have unlimited bandwidth on my server so that's no problem either.
Keep it in mind, if you want to go that way PM me for address.

I sent to Kenny all my email addresses lol... I hope that one of them will work !!
Anyway Kenny you can even split the big file in small pieces, it could be done automatically with winzip or winrar or you can separate the files and send them one at a time...
I tought deeper about this kind of problems and soon I'll start a thread about the peer to peer (p2p) technology that could be a nice add-on to share our free stuffs on the net !

I am not too familiar with the state of P2P systems. Are you thinking of establishing a PosetteForever P2P network? Is it possible to setup some sort of authentication to limit acesses to them so that it would not become a haven for some of reputable sort and the questionable file that they would distribute on it?

If enough resources are available, another possible solution might be setting up a private newsserver. The forum posts could be echoed into matching readonly newsgroups and binary newsgroups could be used to transfer the larger files. Access to the news server could be limited to the members of Posette Forever, and binary posting could be limited to a subgroup of members.
Just a thought

That is a hypothetical question. Go on.

no pangor, I was just going to set up a "secret link" on a webserver for torm to go to and get the file. from there he can upload it to the Posette forever website and link it there. My e-mail server does not have file size or mailbox size limitations. well, it does but I made them huge....

Thank you Davide, I downloaded it before but then couldn't remember where I put it because of the problems I've been having with my computer and moving stuff around. I would have done a search of my computer but I couldnt' remember the name of the file either lol
I've got it now and I'm going to go open it up and take a look at it

Ok this is a message to the good people of Posetteforever. Due to some minor set backs with copy write problems with curtain pictures I was forced to make changed with the calender. It is the wishes of the artist that the picture be removed and I will respect that right. Up at the top is the new version of the calender in the same target as the old one. Hopefully 2006 will not run into a snag like this. To get the ball rolling I am making an announcement for the 2006 calender. I will post again by June or July of the calender and it will be better than ever. So if you would like to have your picture on the calender, now would be a good time to start. I hope you enjoy the second version.
