I noticed the box listing the links for the feeds on the bottom of the main page.  I am reworking my the pages on my webserver, once the static parts are ready, I am planning to setup a cron job to download the feed every so often, format it as part of a headlines news section of my homepage.

IE Version 6 Service pack 2....

As long as you keep your Internet Explorer up to date with all critical updates and patches. Web security should not be an issue. Provided you have all firewalls and virus protection in place. Operating system patches and updates are a good idea as well.....

Check Windows Update often or set up your automatic updating to log in and download updates when you are not using your computer. The more up to date your computer is, the less chance you have of being exploited by the naughty   people of the internet.

Even if you are on a dial up, it is important to take the time to make sure it is updated....

Hope I was of some help...

Wow, landman, the dangers of using Windows with the internet and all the precautions needed!  I think I will stay with a unix OS for that.

You can stay with a linux based OS all you want, they as well have their issues. personally I run Windows XP on one partition with Slackware 9 on a seperate. I have a 24/7 cable internet connection and my windows is current as well as my IE. I have yet to have an issue with anything on the internet. Of course I do filter all ICMP packet requests with Windows XP firewall.....

Invisiblility is a good thing...

I run FoxFire 1.0 or whatever the latest one is. I have yet no problems, and it runs faster than IE 6 with all the updates.

I have just installed again avantbrowser on my system since a long time and I love   it, it has an efficent popup blocker and a more efficent ad blocker too  .
I compared it with the norton internet security ad blocker ans it works better, and it's totally free (even if Tormie, seriously impressed, donates something to the author    )...
