AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!

(It had to be said.)

I'm studying part-time.  When not studying I'm at home doing the house-work and other stuff for my family.  I now have 4 cats, each one of whom demands to be acknowledged as Prime Being of their universe.  And now I've found... well, if not love, then a painfully severe case of like. All of which has shredded my recreational free-time.  End result:

I miss my Poser!!!!

And I think I've found a cunning way to deal with that.

A) Study... Being sneaky, I've just enrolled in a Digital Media course for next year, which focuses on things like creating content for DVDs and stuff. Or in other words, an excuse to get Poser out and render backgrounds and motion menus...!

B) Housework... Found me a heavy-duty electrified cattle-prod and a seriously beefed up battery pack.  If I zap my housemates enough, they should be coerced into doing a little more work around the place.  It also has the advantage of being able to do sterling service as a last-resort form of do-it-yourself UPS should the power go out...!

C) Cats.  Well, okay, I'm stuck there.  Can't do much with 'em and Poser. (And no, the cattle-prod is for human coercion only!  Cats have memories, and wicked sharp claws...)

D) Romance - potentially the biggest threat to my free time.  Until I show my New-Age loving little cuddle-bunny a certain 3D program and casually let slip that all sorts of Fae artwork can be created with it with a bit of practise and some guidance.  Suddenly the PC is no longer a rival for her attention...!

My question, and yes, there is one buried under all this, is this:

Am I evil?  Do I have a Poser addiction?  Do I realize that this is in fact the third question, I've asked instead of just one?

Or to put it a little more seriously, how far should one go to acommodate one's CGI vice?

GrouchoC.

Tell me what you've learned about part-time. Well that's okay.  I'm not too good with negative counterfactuals. Give me an example of which has shredded my recreational free-time. That may take a while. Do I realize that this is in fact the third question I have asked instead of just one? Not that I know of.

I had a negative counterfactual once, Posy - until the legs broke off...

What happened to negative counterfactual once you - until the legs broke off?

:hahah: I think we all have different period when we can do something with Poser, actually I can't do anything with it because of usual things like work, work for the union, house cleaning, house selling etc. etc. . I've only one cat but she is very big   and PRETENDS my attention when I'm home (and an used T-Shirt of mine where she loves to sleep)

I don't know what to say GrouchoC ...; except best wishes to you.
It is good to have things in your Life that you enjoy; if you enjoy all the things (activities, people, pets, ...), then you will find or make the time for them.
