It was a Dark... and Rainy Night...
The Hotel Manager yawned as he turned off the TV :tv2:
-when he heard voices. Three Gentlemen had just arrived -searching for lodging on this uneventful, but stormy night...
"Good Evening Gentlemen" Smiled the Manager... :D

"We Each need a room for the night..." -they responded.

Each Man, gave the Hotel manager, -$10, took his room key, and retired for the night.
About an hour later
:uuh:
The Hotel Manager felt guilty for charging those men so much for their Rooms. "This place is a dive a hundred miles from nowhere, and those crappy rooms are just not worth $10..." -he thought.
::?
So he Rang for the Bell-Hop reached into the cash drawer and gave the bell-Hop -$5 telling him to go :yeah: and give each of their guests -some of their money back.

On the Elevator the Bell-Hop grumbled -"How -am I going to give -$5 to 3 Men ? :pssd:

"HEY Those men don't know 'how much money I am supposed to give them I got no change, and division isn't my strong suit -anyway..."

So he put $2 into his pocket :D and gave each man -Back $1.
:)
Okay so, as far as what I know is true, the Three Gentlemen, originally paid $10 Each, for their Rooms.
( 3 Gentlemen $10 -Each: 3 x $10 = $30 ) so we are talking, about a total of $30.
:mmmh:
Now I know that :eh:
each man, has paid $9 for his room, after the late-night CASH REBATE
of each Man, getting back $1...
And I AM SURE that 3 x $9 = $ 27.
:mmmh:
Okay now, I know that the Bell-Hop, has $ 2 -in his pocket...
$27 + $ 2 = $29
...Now
Who got the OTHER Dollar ? ?

:koo: "Where did you find "Laurel and Hardy" ?

Eh they weren't found, they were made
in my first model-making benge, before the Pink Panther.

They were first attempts at making Poser characters.
This is their first outing in quite some time
but I need to use them more often.

This is a fine example of how something senseless can be presented as if it makes sense. This story, that has many versions, tooks two unrelated numbers and adds them. It's like adding the legs of the desk or the height of the Pink Panther.
Just a little more nosense:
Can you be killing time without hurting Eternity?
Or
What is the colour of the applause made with only one hand?
