Subject: Still Working On Varinka
Hi gang, I'm still working on Varinka, but making progress. Here's a short snippet from about 95% of the way through the story.

This is how I described it when I posted it on facebook yesterday:

Under the watchful eye of evil psychiatrist Dr. Gerald Bansic, who is personally supervising the physical rehabilitation of the three survivors of an... "incident"... aboard the International Space Station, one of them remembers what she was supposed to forget.

Music:"Epic Orchestra Loop" by joshuaempyre c/o freesound.org.
and
"Ambush " by Kevin MacLeod c/o Incompetech.com

Originally I'd planned for this scene to be set at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, but decided to create a fictional setting for it because I didn't want to make light of the suffering of the many wounded veterans of the Irag and Afghanistan wars who are being treated there. So I created the "Curtis LeMay Air Force Health Research Center," named after the real life general who is alleged by some- including the late Senator Barry Goldwater- of involvement in a coverup of UFO evidence. (Not only that, but he also tried to start World War III with the Soviet Union, but that's another story altogether.)

Hi John :friends:

I've found some time for watching this sequence now. Very impressive I must say, and the music adds to it. :thumb:
One thing, it's too fast for me to follow. Especially the frames with text in it would need some more time for reading IMHO...

Hi Ahjah. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I'll have to slow those panels down a bit. It's going to be a struggle to keep the whole thing below 2 hours, but I'll probably be able to do it by speeding up all the panels that don't have any dialogue in them.
