This was a large issue around here not long ago. I can not speak for every one, but as for my opinion, there is much artistic merrit in the use of nudity, when it is done correctly.
Nudity in 3d art all the time and for no other reason than for nudity for nudity sake can become very boring. Then again fully clothed characters all the time can be silly. If the story told by the picture or the situation requires nudity then that is appropriate and to avoid it is the joke. Such as a scene of some one taking a shower or a bath would require nudity. On the other hand if nudity is not appropriate for the situation, such as taking a walk on the moon, then it should not be used.
That said, in our on-line artist communites just as in the real world, all communities will establish limits on what is acceptable in that town or in that gallery. What is acceptable here may be more than what is exceptable over there, while way over there they may accept what is not acceptable here. In all such cases, for peaceful co-existance each member of the community needs to learn what is and is not accpetable within that particular community. The best way to do that here at Posetteforever, is to read the rules and for an example of those rules in practice would be to view our album to see what has been accepted.
