Mmmm... :mmmh: what am i afraid of...
1. Not being able to breath. I once had an allergic reaction to penecillin, my airways and tongue swelled up and i couldn't breath. I have never been so scaried in my life and i'm worried of that happening again.

2. Losing the people i love, like them dieing and me being all alone.

3. Swimming where the water is so deep that i can't feel or see the bottom. ( this only applies outside:))

4. Sharks :) very rational fear when you live in sweden :uuh:

Erenda most people will look at people who they feel look, act or are different from them selves for a varity of reasons, like fear, jelousy, curosity´and who knows what else. Some even belive that what you see on the outside is what the person is like on the inside.
When i was your age ( i can't believe i'm old enough (28) to say when i was your age!), i had a friend that a lot of people avoided becuase of how she looked. She had black, purple and blond hair in a mohawk. She was wearing black or dark colored clothes, had a lot of piercings and makeup. She also cut herself on her arms and legs with a razor. The way you discribe your look and your personality remind me somewhat of her.
She was and still is one of the kindest, sweetest people i have ever met. But most people would judge her by how she looked and so they never got to know what a sweet person she was. Through her i met a lot of people who's looks scared off people and learned that usually the people who look different are more accepting and tolerant of others, than those who look like people do most.

"Hey do you want to see something really freak?" I would have told them, hey want me to get you a mirror? :prrr:

1-Not to be able to give to my family what they need and what they want (we have serious laboral problems here and the fear to lose a work make some people to abuse of this situation)

2-Deep water, this city is surrounded by water, the 99.9% of the people can swim, I can't, but I love water and the river, so when we go to the beach I'm allways near the shore.

3-E.T.s (yes, don't laugh) extraterrestrial creatures with big eyes and small mouth do scarry me a lot, no gosth, no terror films scarry me like an E.T. one

4-Trafic, to cross a street full of intense trafic

I'm weird, am not? :lmao:

The greatest of the mundane that is ever present is the siutation where someone that I love is need or pain and I am unable to do anything to help.

Erenda, as for appearing different from others and how they react. About a week ago, I had to go downtown do run some errends. The errends required me to be in the far side of the downtown area (about two blocks from the lake) and to the opposite side of the downtown area (where the main grouping of skyscrapers are). Walking to downtown from my home took a little more than an hour and a half. After walking around downtown to run the errends, I walked home.

On that day we were having a heat wave, to walk back home it took me almost three hours. I was not able to walk very fast; between the heat and my bad leg acting up that day; so I kept a slow steady pace and of course I had my cane.

On the way home, someone yelled (profanity not repeated), "Hey oldman! You better get home before you die!" (I am not that old). Someone else, "Get out of here freak! And another person, "Hey you gimp! Get out of here!"

My reaction, was to continue on my way as though I heard nothing.

:snooty: :snooty: Damnit... I hate those people... Because I'm a big bear when something similar happens to me usually it ends with some ambulances...

Yes, I feel the same way, but I have a feeling that had I done anything but what I did do, the ambulance would have been needed for me.

But I did find a little humor in the last comment. I am pretty sure that the person who called me a gimp (meaning lame or crippled) knows nothing of the software called gimp that I use for my painting program. ;-)

:) Oh yes, usually the ambulance is for me too, the fact is that I'm not able to avoid such kind of confrontations. Some years ago I had an exchange of opinions with five drunk people and I had 1 month of prognosis... They had to extract two incisive teeth from my left hand and I don't know who was the owner. I had to keep on a collar for 15 days and I had to use a lot of ice on my face... But as the years passes I'm becoming more tolerant, I think in order to survive...
