Is that your truck? It's beautiful! I'm starting to notice trucks more now that my boyfriend is back to truck driving. He's headed your way too, on their way to Georgia, then Tennessee and then Ill. I won't see him for a week or two I guess, but they are happy to be getting the miles in. Hopefully it will mean a big check soon

No, GP, that's not my rig. Mine was a Peterbuilt, conventional cab, duel chrome stacks, really nice sleeper, and a big V8 CAT under the hood. I pulled a nice shinny gasoline tanker for Mobil Oil Corporation. The rig weighed 80,000 lbs with a full load of 9,000 gallons of gasoline. Pulling that kind of weight, when I hit thirteenth gear, the twin stacks would spit out a flame about a foot long. GP, tell your better half that The Bra Snatcher said howdee. My wife used to call me by my other handle, The Tanker Yanker, but I kind of liked The Bra Snatcher. That handle used to get a response from the lady truckers out there.

My bf is also a fan of your wood working. He and his nephew (the other driver of their truck) both love woodworking and live in their garages when not on the road. lol The nephew used to carry around a small wood lathe or something like that when he was out on the road, that is until my bf started driving with him, no room for the lathe now lol

my dad was a truck driver and we (my sis and i) used to go on road trips with him during the summers. i would have to agree with you pappino, i've yet to see a lady trucker like that, LOL.
