I like both angles. But if I had to choose, I think I would select this one. This angle better supports the illusion if being there.
Did you work from a reference photo or from memory of a place that you have been? Some how, there is something so familiar about the place, expecially when seen from this angle; but I can not identify why. It seems to spark a memory in me that just does not want to fully form.

Ah, that would explain it. I guess I saw the place being used in an episode of "Streets of San Francisco" or "San Francisco Beat".
