Pic Description: Circe, daughter of the sun, was a sorceress best known for her ability to turn men into animals with her magic wand. The daughter of Perse and Helios, and whose daughter is Aega (goddess of the sun) she is remembered for her encounter with Odysseus and his men, and renowned for her knowledge of magic and poisonous herbs.

This is, of course, my version of Circe as a character workup in a more modern style....please tell me what you think!

I like her. But try to up the resolution on the textures. They seem blurry.
Great looking gal but you need to see if she can be with another outfit. I would think she is more in the old times, so the outfit needs to be of date unless you are making her into a futuristic character then it needs to be farther in the future. You need to show her power and what we fear in her. I hope you see what I am saying. Its nice but it is more of a pose and if she is of a character of powers you need to display her abilities. Just my way of thinking. I'll go back to my hole now.

Thanks Kenny and Johnny for the imput. At this point this is a character workup only. I chose the clothing as I did more as play at this point. The resolution is poor because I used a background picture and sometimes my Poser will not render it to full resolution. Now if this was a DC realm and dealing with Wonder Woman, the gods walk amoung mortals daily and dress in modern clothing. It all depends on your point of view. I can definately work up a more historical peice with this character, but I was trying to work with a newer concept of gods walking amoung us as we are now....either meddling in our affairs or trying to protect us against those who do meddle. I am sure I can work this Circe into what she truly is.

If you remember the history books she came across subtly at first and then turned Odysseus men into pigs. Circe soon found that Odysseus was immune to her powers due to Hermes giving him a special herb. She released his men from the spell and bade them welcome into her home and they stayed there for a year. After about a year when Odysseus left she warned them of the sirens they would encounter on their journey. Circe and Odysseus also bore a child together named Telegonus who later ruled over the Tyrsenians. I will try to work her up into a more fitting peice....I just thought I would share what I had so far.

Thanks for viewing!
