Why is this scene with a fluffy pussy cat more scary, than a scene with some huge ugly beast...

We humans have an old fear of cats! They are cuddly and loving but also ruthless hunters and endow an aura of mystery that thousands of years our species could not live off! I personally love this dual nature of cats!
