Pic Description: I found this neat freebie by Chacornac on SCG for DS.
https://sharecg.com/v/98350/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/Feu-de-camp

Model is DSF/DUF, but that was no problem. Its nice texture set had matching names for materials and their images.

I used stand-alone ($$) DSF Tools, but could have exported as OBJ from DS.

Conversion went well. Loads at 100~150% original, then ''Drop to Floor''. Force ''show back-facing'' polys.

Use Flammes 01~03 JPGs as both ''diffuse'' and ''ambient'', their ''_NB'' JPG masks as ''transparency''.

Model does not seem to call the bundled ''sol.jpg'', but that is handy for scene ground. Do not set its ''displacement'' too high, lest you get ''Elephant Grass'', which would be a fire hazard... ;-)

Couple of ''gotchas'': I think some ''black'' parts of the transparency masks are not totally black. Remember my work-light''s ambience mask leaked ? You can see hints of these flames'' ''flats'', suggesting I''ll need to tweak their masks or mask parameters.

Rather than argue with ''emissive'' nodes, I dialled BRAISES 01~02 and FLAMMES 01~03 to super-ambient of 5. Looked very dull at first, then I realised I''d forgotten to set their ambient colours from default to white. Yes, yes, you''d think setting a texture map would over-ride, but...

Rendered in Superfly, Progressive, 64 pixel samples, with both graphic cards and their preferred 1024 vol-bounces and buckets. I''d suggest setting each to 64 for CPU-only render...

I''m still wrangling kitchen leak''s aftermath. Floor is dry, Dry, DRY, but wall is resolutely damp, despite dehumidifier pulling 2~~3 litres a day. I''ve almost figured how to shield thru-wall hole when time comes to fill it. My next job is to replace ''single'' and sink-unit''s rusty front feet. I cannot yet see what is holding these adjustable legs'' brackets to the sides of unit, and design is too old to be found on-line...

At least I can empty the free-standing ''single'' unit and turn it ''upside-down'' for study. If I cannot refurbish the existing feet, I''ve new brackets. These have a load-carrying lip, so do not rely on secret dowels or hidden screws...
