At her age, Granny Posette knows better than to go wandering around in abandoned insane asylums. But sometimes she can''t resist her mischievous spirit, so she does it anyway. What Granny didn''t know was that Zombie Posette had recently taken up lurking in the shadows of this old place, hoping some rotten brains might be laying around to make herself a feast. Fortunately Granny may be slow, but Zombie Posette is even more slow, so Granny will probably be okay, if only her old hips can carry her up those stairs.
Two P4NWs rendered in Poser 4. Granny and her items are entirely textured with my own efforts. Among identifiable props, she wears Updo Hair by Kozaburo, default P4 Women''s Dress Shirt, PD-Wide Belt by Janet, and Posernation Walking Stick. Zombie Posette uses a texture I heavily modified, the underlying base of which I borrowed from a texture originally for P4NM-- either it was called ''Manrik,'' or it was made by someone named Manrik. The background set is called ''Insane Asylym'' by Arrowhead42, and mostly uses the default textures which came with that model. Apart from the models which came with Poser 4, everything appearing in this scene was once a freebie item at some long-lost website, as I''ve never paid a penny for anything.
One of the charms of Poser is that making this scene didn''t require nearly as much direct effort as may appear. Most of the work had already been done in the past, in making the Posettes and their props. With that part accomplished beforehand and the models simply waiting in the bullpen, posing them in a scene is relatively simple. The main trouble I had here was with the stage/set-- there were some holes in the stairwell that shot light down onto the wall underneath, so after rendering I had to lower the brightness and increase the contrast to hide them. The floor of the set was also a problem. I had it blazing in direct illumination and it wouldn''t brighten, so there is some inscrutable trouble in there somewhere.
